The VMDR-844 is a 4-channel ruggedized mobile NVR / DVR system built for fleets that need dependable multi-camera recording across commercial vehicles, trailers, equipment, and remote assets. With built-in LTE cellular connectivity, the system connects vehicle video, GPS location, and sensor event data to VentraCloud, Ventra’s optional cloud-based video telematics platform for live viewing, GPS tracking, remote playback, and event video review.
With dual SD card storage supporting up to 1TB total capacity, the VMDR-844 records continuously in a loop for dependable local video retention. This gives fleets local recording on the vehicle while adding cloud access when remote video review, event clips, GPS history, and centralized visibility are needed.
Ventra mobile recording systems are used across trucks, trailers, forklifts, construction vehicles, off-highway vehicles, and other specialized fleet applications where standard dashcams may not provide enough camera coverage or storage flexibility.

Video Playback Option
Recorded videos can be viewed directly from the VMDR if an external LCD monitor is connected to the system. SD card recordings can also be viewed on a PC via the VMDR desktop software. Footage can also be conveniently accessed and downloaded remotely via VentraCloud service.
